  We do not intend to collect personal data of our website visitors who are under the age of 16. However, we are unable to verify the visitor’s age. If the parents or the guardians can monitor their children’s online activities, then it can save us from collecting their personal data unknowingly and without parents’ consent. If somehow the parents or the guardians feel that we have collected their children’s personal data without consent, then please contact us and we will delete the same in our records.

  When a user places an order via our Platform we use Automated research planning and profiling, which means using your address data to select the participating Stores in your local area. We also use automated decision-making in complying with our legal obligations to prevent money laundering, terrorism financing, and other criminal offences. If somehow such profiling leads to a negative decision about you, and you do not agree, then please let us know and we will then reassess the situation.

We would retain your personal data if needed to fulfil the purpose it was collected for that includes the purpose of accounting, taxation, any legal or reporting needs. Your personal data is shared with the Store when you order via our Platform. The data includes order number, name, contact telephone number, address details, which is needed for our carrier to deliver the food to you. If you feel the data may be used negatively then please contact us and we will ask the store to remove it.

We may work with different companies / third parties outside Octopus Online Stores for various activities and to carry the processing described in the above points.
